A fantasy comes to life in these Nellis Sand Dunes Engagement Photos. These pictures make it look like this couple just took a magic carpet ride to the outskirts of Las Vegas to these incredible sand dunes. Arriving at the Dunes you would think you were in Morocco. Experiencing the whispering wind, the warm sand and the painted sky, I couldn’t help but think of my first reading of the Alchemist. I felt like I had traveled a thousand miles to experience first hand the poetry of Paulo Coelho’s writings.
Las Vegas Engagement Locations
I didn’t fly to the Nellis Sand Dunes on a magic carpet, but that’s okay, it was only a 40 minute drive from Las Vegas. There are many gorgeous locations right outside of Las Vegas. Choosing one of them for a wedding or elopement can help you avoid the grime and crowds of the city. Couples can choose from many parks around the area and find a spot that is uniquely theirs.

The Dunes are a perfect location for a laid back couple who want to kick off their shoes, put their toes in the warm sand and feel like they are the only two people on the planet. There is not a person or creature in sight at the Dunes. The atmosphere allows the world to drown out and you and your significant other will become the focus. The details you will remember in your wedding should be each other and nothing else.
