It’s the most wonderful time of the year! There is so much I want to do with my kids and my husband to soak up all the magic around the Holidays. I love all the hot-coco and holiday movies that we watch while snuggled up on the couch with the Christmas tree lights dazzling in the background. Of course my favorite tradition though is having an excuse to capture some more photos of my kids who are growing way too fast!Las Vegas Portrait Photographer

Modern Las Vegas Holiday Photos

This year though I wanted some photos of my family that were festive, but not as traditional. Photos in front of the tree or with Santa are great and obligatory in this house, but I also want some photos of my kids where one isn’t screaming from sitting on a strangers lap… so it was time to get my creative juices flowing and get to work.Las Vegas Portrait Photographer

Las Vegas Family Portrait Mini Sessions

This holiday season, I styled a vintage bright red VW Bus with evergreen trees and classic red plaid blankets and made it the perfect backdrop for your portrait session. Through the Holidays I am offering mini sessions and full sessions for families to get their Holiday photos taken with this modern festive backdrop. Mini sessions are a fantastic way to get your family portraits taken while on a Holiday budget. Parents don’t worry about meltdowns with your kiddos, mini sessions are the perfect way to make a family portrait session quick and painless for families with young children.Las Vegas Portrait PhotographerKeeping with the Holiday spirit my other favorite places to take family portraits are in your home, either huddled by the fire or in front of the Christmas tree. In home portrait sessions are more relaxed, cozy and a natural setting for the winter. We can get photos of your kids hanging Christmas ornaments, shaking and opening some presents. My other favorite place to take photos with family around the Holidays would be a Christmas Tree farm (or Christmas Tree lot depending on your location). No matter the location, the perfect time to schedule your family portrait session is when home for the Holidays. Don’t let this moment slip away!

  1. […] it to be a celebration of kicking off the Holidays. Most of all it should be fun! Last year I did a cool VW bus theme. This year I have a new spin… or more like new […]
