Reunited and it felt so good! After meeting at UNLV, Caroline and Zachary were attending a mutual friend’s birthday party when they reconnected. Caroline noticed right away Zachary’s “smile and happy personality. He was so easy and natural to be around and talk every moment was absolutely effortless.” Zachary noticed how beautiful Caroline was inside and out. “Our views aligned in every way and it felt like we were perfectly made for each other,” Zachary says.
Dating in Las Vegas
Their first date was at Parkway Tavern in Henderson, Nevada where they talked for hours, completely lost track of time playing pool and arcade games until they were hungry again and ended their date at IN-N-OUT, the best place to end any good day. But that time together was not enough. The very next day they met up and went out for a full day adventure to Primm to see the Bonnie and Clyde death car and Nelson’s ghost town. I can tell these two know how to have a good time.
An Over the Top Proposal!
After two years of being inseparable, Zachary made things official. Caroline recalls, “We went to the Top of the World restaurant at the Stratosphere for what I thought was a celebratory dinner (which it ended up being!). Zachary was adamant about getting our pictures taken from their in-house photographer, which I did not understand at the time. After our first few pictures he started to turn towards me, got on one knee and asked me to marry him! The rest is a blur of the happiest of emotions, tears, and lots of good food!”
The Happiest Couple in Las Vegas!
I loved seeing such extraordinary potential for a happy future between the two. Caroline remarks her favorite things about Zachary are his positivity and drive – Two things that are so important for sharing a very long future together. “Even on my worst days he knows how to make me smile and see the good,” says Caroline. Zachary tells me how Caroline has always been attentive and makes sure he feels love and appreciated. Any long term couples can probably relate that making sure your partner feels seen and appreciated is high priority for a happy relationship.
A Good Reminder to all Couples
Caroline and Zachary make me believe anything is possible! They describe their relationship as “Goals”, not because it’s the cliche term on Instagram, but because it’s truly what they set out to have and be for each other. “We are so passionate about each other reaching our individual goals as well as developing and nourishing the goals we have as a couple and for our life together,” Caroline and Zachary explain to me. This is a good reminder to us all to never stop growing as individuals and as a team!
Mt Charleston Las Vegas Engagement
It doesn’t take more than a few minutes with Caroline and Zachary to see they are the perfect match. To witness first hand the way these two genuinely light up around each other, it felt like nothing but a privilege to get to be the one to capture their Mt Charleston Las Vegas Engagement. I spent the entire session laughing with them like I’d known them for years, and with every click of the shutter, I just felt more and more lucky to be the one who get to photograph their wedding day next year, and capture the beginning of their next chapter. The perfect continuation of a beautiful legacy of love.
