Recently, I headed up a mountain for an inspiration shoot and BOOM – I was met with a breathtaking scenic view with rolling hills and lush forest. Sometimes I am sceptical about these places, because I am afraid of being met with a below average stay to get an above average view. I am pleased to say this is NOT the case here.
Wedding at the Retreat on Mt Charleston Peak
This is a full-stop, modern resort with all of the modern, luxurious amenities and it is met with a romantic log cabin aesthetic. I put this place through all my pillow checking, dining, and angle checking scrutiny to now be able to tell you that this is a GREAT place to come for a wedding. Don’t wait to hike up this mountain, dive into it and grab yourself a fantastic wedding weekend at the Retreat on Mt. Charleston Peak.
The Extra Special Perk of Wedding at the Retreat on Mt Charleston Peak
You can completely rent out the Resort for your wedding. Can you imagine the entire place being filled with your family and friends there to celebrate you on your special day? No one there to cramp your style, say you’re too loud, or partying too long. That won’t happen here with being able to rent out the entire retreat.
Wedding at Mt Charleston Peak
To describe this styled shoot I must steal the words of Cover Girl – it was easy, breezy and beautiful. You know you found the perfect wedding venue when there are luxury accommodations for your guests, there is flexible on site staff to help you, and it’s hello- gorgeous. If you have all that everything just becomes easier and more fun to plan. That was true for the styled shoot as well. The retreat has a courtyard and terrace to take advantage of the beautiful outdoor space overlooking the canyon and surrounding mountains. Perfect for an outdoor ceremony or reception. It’s nearly 2,000 square feet so it accommodates up to 200 guests for a ceremony, cocktail hour and or dinner.
