As we are heading into the 4th of July weekend, I couldn’t help but notice how American the Neon Sign Museum in Las Vegas is. Hear me out. The Neon Sign Museum is a remembrance of American culture. Being there was like walking through the past and remembering all of the good times. I was inspired by all of those old movies with these signs in the background that were playing through my head. I was truly in the moment when I got to shoot Emma and Anthony’s Engagement session at the Neon Museum. The Neon Museum is full of color and makes for a unique, retro backdrop to a Las Vegas engagement session.
Las Vegas Engagement Session at the Neon Museum
Walking through the history of this Neon Sign Museum was in a way symbolic of how Emma and Anthony are remembering all they have been through together during their nine-year dating anniversary. Emma and Anthony met at work. They both worked at the Hard Rock Hotel at Mr. Lucky’s. On their first date “We went to the Cosmo and sat at the chandelier bar and talked so much we missed our reservation for dinner,” Emma recollects. After Nine romantic dating years, much of it taking place in the iconic places of Las Vegas, and two kids later it was time for the proposal
A Dazzling Las Vegas Engagement
Anthony’s proposal to Emma was as iconic as their dating relationship. With a big smile on her face Emma tells me their proposal story. “On Christmas, Anthony put the ring box in my stocking. After we opened all the gifts with our kids he told me to grab my stocking and when I opened it he got down on one knee and asked me if I would marry him,” she says.
After all this time, Anthony is still as charming as the day Emma first met him. “There isn’t a person I know who doesn’t like him,” she says. Emma told me Anthony first noticed her in her little work uniform. How Vegas?! Today she is as beautiful as ever! Now, while raising a family they appreciate each other’s personality and humor more than ever. “We balance each other well, and I love our honesty.” While they might not spend as much time on the Strip as they would like to, they now enjoy spending time as a family doing house projects, going shopping, playing board games, or going to sporting events.
Las Vegas Wedding to Come
Emma and Anthony plan to get married on November 6th 2020. They both are looking forward to that exact moment they say, “I do” to one another. I am anticipating that indescribable moment for them. Both Emma and Anthony are each very witty and full of love. After nine years together and two kids it’s inspirational to see a couple that truly grows with more love for each other every single day. I admire them deeply and wish all the best for them on their wedding day and every day after.
